Imagination Station

As most of you have heard, my parents had quite the scare on their last visit to town.  Cars just don't fair well with semis that are torn in two with their loads laying across the freeway, hence, the 9 hour standstill that consumed their near 14 hour trip from their home to ours.  We prayed, they're stubborn and in love with their grandchildren, and thus continued their trip.  We are grateful that everyone involved was safe, and I don't believe any of us will be driving in the snow anytime soon!

CHEERS to arriving safely!

Snow day you say, let's go visit Daddy at his office.  I find it hard to believe that Helaina will turn 6 in March.  She has all but 1 of her permanent six year molars and is close to getting a visit from the tooth fairy.

This guy thinks he gets a new tooth almost weekly.  We just agree and move along with our day.

Who or what will Zach be today?  Oh, to have the imagination of our son.  Sometimes I think he lives in his own little planet, full of superheroes, palm trees, police man, fairies, and candy.  The joy in this child absolutely radiates.  He's a ball of energy but a laugh a minute.

Feast of the Nativity

Christ is Born! Let us Glorify Him! What a fantastic two weeks our family had celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Christmas Eve was spent at Amo Jack and Auntie Georgette's.
The kids were said "cheers" with their kiddie champagne.

Singing Jingle Bells with Santa.

Christmas morning in our house.

What 3 year old isn't excited about getting a robe from Santa?

Christmas in Indiana

How tired looks after 3 Christmas parties in 3 days.

While in Indiana we had the opportunity to have a little wedding planning fun with the future Mrs. Nathan McGinley.  Helaina tried on some flower girl dresses with the big girls while we shopped for bridesmaid dresses.

Helping Uncle Nate in the tractor.

New Year's Eve was spent in Hockeytown at Joe Louis Arena with my Aunt Vicki and my cousins, Alexis and Lindsey.  Of course Randy was there too, but he was hard at work with the team.  We dined in the Olympia Room and enjoyed a WIN from our Wings.  The kids had a little party of their own back at home with Teta and Seedy.

Our last event before Helaina headed back to school today.  Some fun with the Khoury family on Saturday evening.
