Little bit of life

Just a snippet of the fun we've been having...

Hanging with their cousin Alex.

In case you missed it, Mr. All Star, Dylan Larkin, needed some dental work done last week.  Didn't slow Dylan down from earning the fastest skating record at the NHL All-Star game this weekend.

Nate and Jess came to visit last weekend and Jess was able to attend her very first NHL game!!! It was a great night spent with two people we don't get to see enough.  Enjoyed every minute of their company!

Unfortunately, Randy is in the locker room while we enjoy the festivities. At least he sneaks away for a picture.

The latest happening in Helaina's life.  She now has glasses for classroom use and is actually doing quite well with them.  Poor girl didn't have much hope considering that I'm her momma and I'm practically blind.  Thank goodness for contacts!

We are dog-sitting for our friends for the week.  Bentley is a fantastic dog and the kids have been very happy to have him around.  No matter what people tell us, I don't believe there will be a dog for us in the near future.  I just don't have the heart to break it to the kiddos yet.

Our volleyball player.  What a riot. If you have never been to a volleyball game for girls in 1st-4th grade, you're really missing out :)!

Let's Go RED WINGS!

My parents visited last weekend and were able to enjoy their annual Red Wings game. Here are just a few photos from the evening. We had dinner in Greektown and then rode the People Move (train) over to Joe Louis.

Our pretty girl, missing her front two teeth :)

The many faces of Zachary

So proud of their dad

A little tuckered out from all the events.

Christmas in Indiana

It's hard to believe that we are already a full week into 2016.  The holidays were filled with fun and family and the kids had the pleasure of spending 5 nights in Indiana with Grandma and Grandpa.  Randy and I worked extra hours at the dental office and my parents graciously offered to take the kids for a few days before we could join the fun.

This is how the kids celebrated New Years Eve.  Sparkling grape juice, pajamas, and fun with Grandma and Grandpa.

CHEERS!

The kids love their Auntie Jess

Celebrating the new year with Missy!

Back in MI, the kids went to the fishing show with Grandpa Don, and Helaina was excited to try out the rock climbing wall

After a few attempts she made it to the top!

Trying to catch a fish (with not much luck)

Looking forward to a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! Hope 2016 has some great things in store!
