Friends and Fresh Bread

We. Are. Blessed.  These pictures make us smile and remind us of how fortunate we are to have good neighbors, great friends, and fantastic family.  We have lived in our new home for almost a full year.  Before moving, we prayed that we would have "good neighbors."  It only took a few weeks, and we realized that we had nothing to fret about.  Instead, I believe we have hit the jackpot in the neighbor lottery.  See picture below...this particular Friday evening we served pizza from the grill with Popsicles for dessert.  The following week, Randy's parents grilled hamburgers and had even more children for the dinner date.  We'll probably hibernate for the winter, but we're sure to make more neighbor memories next spring!      

Who makes 15 pounds of fresh bread and cooks it in the bread/pizza oven in their backyard?!?!  Randy's parents!  It's simply delicious.  There is nothing better than Teta Helen's food and fresh, warm bread tops my list of favorite foods.

Helaina joined the ladies for an Arbonne facial last Thursday evening.  She felt proud using all the "grown up" products.

This past weekend, the kids and I traveled to Indianapolis to spend the night at the Cobb home.  My Indiana girlfriends and their families hold a very special place in my heart.  There is no one quite like them, and they are the sisters that I never had and had always longed for.  For the seven years that we've lived apart, we have all taken turns making the 5 hour trek to see each other at least a few times a year.  Even though the miles separate us, the kids still have the opportunity to grow up together.

They spent a good majority of the weekend "wrestling" and taking turns putting each other "in jail."  All was going well until Helaina accidentally gave Nolan a bloody nose.  Superhero play time was officially over for the remainder of the weekend.
