Bankson Lake Vacation

Just west of Kalamazoo, in a small town surrounded by vineyards and dirt roads, there is a place called Bankson Lake.  It's where we spent our family vacation in the fleeting days of summer and a place that we hope to continue to return to year after year.  

The town of Lawton opened a brewery a few weeks before our trip.  My parents watched the kids on a rainy afternoon and we spent a couple hours with Nate and Jess at the local vineyards and brewery. 

Nothing like lazy morning, days, and evenings of fishing.  We caught several fish right off the shore and the dock. Helaina is able to cast and reel them in herself while Zach became a pro at putting the fish back into the water.

There are no words, the pictures are priceless and so our the memories.  Till next year...
