Baby Freij is "active"
Doctors visit #2 was a success! Randy was able to come to the appointment with me today. The visit consisted of blood work, urine tests, complete family and health history review, and another ultrasound. The hospital where I will deliver, and the medical office where all of my prenatal appointments are at is BRAND NEW! They have an ultrasound machine that displays the image on a large flat screen TV that I swear is in High Definition. Anyways, the ultrasound actually looked like a "baby" today and not a "tadpole." In fact, Baby Freij has a loud and strong heartbeat that the doctor was very happy with. The baby also was rolling around and moving it's arms and legs all over the place. She said the baby was "very active." I guess those are all good signs! Now it's time to start considering all of the "optional" genetic tests that they offer (CFS, Down Syndrome, etc.) Some are as early as next week and the week after, so we'll say some prayers and the good Lord will guide us into what we should have done. Looking forward to the weekend and starting week 11 of our pregnancy; we'll also be celebrating Randy's 32nd birthday.
