28 years and 16 months old

That's how old Helaina and I turned today. We celebrated by taking a trip to the library and grocery store. Before returning home, Helaina and I had lunch together. She kept saying "thank you", probably because she was allowed to have a smoothie for her drink for lunch instead of milk.
All three of us were able to enjoy the afternoon at Turtle Cove Aquatic Center. It was paradise for Helaina. They had so many things for Helaina to keep herself busy. They even had water slides for kids...Helaina didn't quite meet the height requirement, but as you'll see in the picture below, that didn't keep her and Randy from trying it out anyway. Rules...who needs rules?!?
A huge hit with the kids at the water park is the bucket that dumps massive amounts of water on the people standing below (as you can also see in the picture below). Guess who just had to try that out? Yes, Randy and Helaina. Randy came over to me afterwards and said, "Boy that was a lot of water. Helaina could barely stand up." Good thing she's not scared of much.
