4th Fun

We ended the holiday weekend with fun, fun, and more fun! We joined the McFadden family and their extended family in downtown Northville to watch the 4th of July parade. It was a nice parade with a small town atmosphere. The parade lasted about an hour and a half, and Helaina loved every minute! It was rather loud, so Zach woke from his nap early but still did well. He was content to take in all the new sights and sounds.

11 weeks old...still such a sweet boy! After all the weekend activities, every one of us was zonked! We crashed as soon as we got home last night, and Zach slept over 11 hours! We had to wake him around 7 am for his first feeding. We're keeping our fingers crossed that his good sleeping habits continue.

Our family (minus Zach, he was snoozing in the shade) enjoying the beautiful weather the morning of the 4th

Too cute...she basically spent the entire hour and a half with her hand held out waiting for the next goody.

Later that afternoon, the Tomakowski family had us over for a BBQ. Auntie Kathy is quite the cook...we enjoyed delicious food and even better company! It was a great evening!
