Girls weekends are GREAT!!! I safely returned home from a fun-filled weekend in Indianapolis with my best girl friends. I flew from Detroit to Indy on Friday afternoon and spent the whole weekend catching up and spending some quality time with Katie, Megan, Erin, and Angie. Friday evening we treated ourselves to a delicious dinner at Stonecreek and returned back to Katie and Ryan's home. What else could make the evening complete....baking chocolate cookies of course!!!
Saturday the weather was Gorgeous, sunny and 75 degrees. Us girls took a road trip to Brown County and shopped till we dropped. We then returned back to the Archer house to meet the "boys", so they could protect us girls while we navigated the "Haunted Corn Maze" at Beasley's Orchard in Danville. The maze was entertaining/scary, but that was nothing compared to walking through the maze with Erin. Let's just say she'll probably fall asleep with the lights on for the next few weeks.
Sunday was equally relaxing...Ryan cooked biscuits and gravy, the weather was again perfect, and COLTS WIN! I have to thank the Archer's for their hospitality, but also my husband for being supportive and allowing me to take these trips while he holds down the fort in Michigan.
